Experience
Andrew joined Birketts in January 2011 and is an employed consultant in our corporate and commercial team.
He has extensive experience of acting on corporate and commercial matters including advising on the reorganisation of company structures, mergers and acquisitions, the incorporation of joint venture companies, advising on distribution and agency agreement terms and conditions, partnerships and CCP, competition law and company secretarial services. He has acted for a range of national, international and local clients, with a particular specialism in Anglo Dutch legal work, for which he is recognised for in the region.
Andrew joined Birketts from a pan-European law firm where he was partner in charge of their Norwich office and Head of their Dutch practice. Andrew is a well known figure in the Norwich and Norfolk business community and was also a partner at a leading local firm for many years. He is recognised in one of the leading legal directories, Legal 500 UK, as one of the region's leading lawyers particularly for his work with the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (www.nbcc.co.uk), which he will continue at Birketts with regular monthly visits to the Netherlands.
